Context
Guerrero Bautista was a brand new firm: new name, new partners, no track record yet. Corporate and family law in Mexico, a field where clients decide who to trust fast. The firm needed an identity that made it look established from day one. I designed the whole system at Mess Studio, with an art director reviewing the work.

Insights
In legal branding, clients judge credibility in seconds, before they read a word. The harder part here was not the design. It was guiding a client who could not name what they wanted until they saw it.
The Problem
The firm had no visual direction and could not articulate one. Every review risked pulling the work somewhere new. The identity also had to feel authoritative without landing on the same serif and navy template every law firm uses.
The Solution
I built the identity around restrained luxury with familiarity: clean and confident, but warm rather than cold and corporate. The name comes from the partners' surnames, so the mark treats it as the anchor. I designed the full system and used each client round to narrow the direction instead of widening it, until the firm recognized itself in the work.
The Outcome
The identity rolled out across every touchpoint, and client response was strongly positive. A firm with no history launched looking like one that had been around for years.
